Ana-Maria Bruneteau is an Associate in the firm’s Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Group. Her practice covers an extensive range of transactional and business law matters. These matters include mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate governance, entity formation, business structuring, business finance, private equity offerings, capital investments, general contracts, and other business-related issues, as well as commercial financing, venture financing and tax law. Ana-Maria works closely with clients to negotiate, review, and draft documents. In her efforts, she collaborates with all members of the corporate group to carry out and deliver on each client’s individual legal needs.
Prior to joining Kutak Rock, Ana-Maria was an attorney with an East Coast firm, advising clients across various industries such as finance, healthcare, renewable energy, and real estate.
Ana-Maria received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, with a concentration in Business Law, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. While in law school, she was a Maryland State Bar Association UB Law Clerkship Fellow, a LL.M Representative for the International Law Society, A rule 19 Student Attorney and was a Research Assistant for Professor Odeana R. Neal. Prior to obtaining her J.D. she attended the University of Strasbourg, School of Law in Strasbourg France where she received her Master 1 in Business Law and the University Titu Maiorescu School of Law in Bucharest Romania where she received an LL.B. which is equivalent to a J.D.
Upon graduation from law school, Ana-Maria was a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Sean D. Wallace of the Prince George’s County and the 7th Judicial District of Maryland.
Ana-Maria is fluent in Romanian and French.
