Brian serves as general counsel to Washington public school districts, where he has substantial experience advising on a wide range of issues arising under education law. He also regularly advises clients regarding general employment, municipal and corporate matters. Additionally, Brian has been involved in various public finance transactions involving tax-exempt and taxable financings for public entities, including school districts, charter schools, cities, fire districts and library districts.
Brian has extensive experience advising on matters arising under the Washington State Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act, and has argued cases in state court involving disclosure of records and application of exemptions to disclosure under the Public Records Act.
