Mason concentrates his practice in tax law, with a focus on federal income tax matters as they relate to business, financing, and merger and acquisition transactions. He regularly assists clients on structuring deals in a tax efficient manner and navigating the intricacies of federal tax compliance. In addition to his federal tax work, Mason assists clients with a broad range of state and local tax (“SALT”) issues, including income, franchise, property, and sales and use tax matters. He also advises nonprofit organizations on formation, tax exemption, and ongoing compliance.
