Tim Keane Named to Minnesota Lawyer’s 2025 Power List for Construction and Real Estate Law

Tim focuses his practice on commercial real estate, eminent domain, land use and development, and public law. He frequently serves as development counsel, advising on site and market analysis, project management, planning, design, and complex land use approvals. His work includes representing institutional and non-institutional developers, property owners, and nonprofit housing organizations in real estate and fair housing matters. He also serves as city attorney and special counsel for multiple Minnesota municipalities.
Tim’s impact on the legal profession is underscored by his involvement in high-profile cases including Smart Growth Minneapolis v. City of Minneapolis, where he played a key role in securing a ruling requiring an environmental review of the city’s 2040 Plan. His contributions to the legal field were previously recognized when he was named a Minnesota Lawyer 2023 Attorney of the Year.
