Law Week Colorado recently published its annual Colorado 200 survey, highlighting the largest law firms in Colorado by attorney headcount. This year’s survey reveals an overall increase in the number of attorneys in the state, underscoring the growth of Colorado’s legal market.

Kutak Rock stands out as a prominent contributor to this growth. Ranked fifth overall in Colorado by the number of local attorneys, Kutak Rock reported 94 Colorado-based lawyers, an increase of two attorneys from the previous year. With a total of 576 lawyers firmwide, Kutak Rock’s consistent growth reflects its strong presence and commitment to serving the legal needs of Colorado’s businesses and communities.

The survey also highlights promising trends in diversity within Colorado’s legal profession. While the average percentage of minority partners in all Colorado law firms remains below 10%, the representation of women in partnership roles exceeds national averages at 31%. In comparison, the percentage of women partners in Kutak Rock’s Denver office is more than 36%. Similarly, the percentage of Kutak Rock partners in Denver who identify as a racial minority also greatly exceeds the state average.
