Kutak Rock partner Jeremy Williams will moderate a panel discussion on merchant cash advances at the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Southeast Bankruptcy Workshop, taking place July 24-27 in Amelia Island, Florida. The session will feature insight from the Hon. Pamela W. McAfee, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Georgia, along with other practitioners and industry professionals.

The panel will explore the growing use and legal challenges of merchant cash advances in the commercial finance space, including recent case law developments and considerations for both creditors and debtors.

Jeremy has served as primary counsel and co-counsel on numerous chapter 11 cases, including in pre-bankruptcy, bankruptcy and post-emergence capacities. He represents both debtors and creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy in federal and state courts, and handles a variety of matters including creditor’s rights litigation, debtor workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations and contract disputes.
