Kutak Rock Serves as Bond and Disclosure Counsel to El Paso County, Colorado

Kutak Rock served as Bond Counsel and Disclosure Counsel in connection with the $15,000,000 El Paso County, Colorado, Certificates of Participation, Series 2024. Proceeds from the issuance of the Series 2024 certificates will be used to finance the construction, improvement, and equipping of a new substation for use by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office in the eastern part of the county. The substation will be located at 10262 Royal County Down Road in Falcon, Colorado. The lot, which has been donated to El Paso County, is 84,217 square feet, and the proposed building will be approximately 10,250 square feet. Upon completion of construction, the fully functional substation of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office will include patrol functions to include holding cells, report writing space and DUI enforcement infrastructure; investigative resources to include interview space and evidence storage and processing; and support elements.
