Firm Elects 17 to Join Partnership in 2010

Kutak Rock LLP, a national provider of legal services for corporate matters, securities, real estate, tax, public finance and litigation, has elevated 18 attorneys to the firm partnership. The promotions go into effect January 1, 2009 and bring the total to 253 partners in 16 offices nationwide. Russell C. Atchley represents public and private companies in commercial litigation matters. He has extensive litigation experience involving banking litigation, construction disputes, corporate contract disputes, insurance claims and coverage, government administration and regulation, products liability, real estate disputes, trade secrets and proprietary information and white-collar crime. Amy M. Wilbourn practices in the area of corporate health care, focusing primarily on health care administrative, regulatory, compliance, real estate, contracting and acquisition transactions relating to long-term care facilities. J. David Bournazian focuses his practice in business litigation, as well as corporate, coverage and employment law. He has vast experience in some of the most complex litigation and business negotiations. Mr. Bournazian continues to represent a wide range of national and international clients, including universities and publicly traded companies, in both litigation and transactional matters. Prior to his law career, Mr. Bournazian worked in the environmental consulting and scientific development fields for private companies, undertaking projects for the federal government and the United States Department of the Navy. Michael E. Brown focuses his practice on commercial litigation, handling disputes involving real estate foreclosure, mechanic's lien litigation, bankruptcy and insurance coverage disputes, including coverage analysis and litigating declaratory judgments as needed. Eric S. Johnson concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation and commercial disputes. Jay N. Selanders represents corporations, financial institutions and manufacturers in a wide range of matters pertaining to commercial credit and lending, real estate loans and transactions and the representation of creditors in bankruptcy. He has particular expertise in dealing with automotive franchise and finance issues, and regularly represents lenders and franchisors in commercial transactions and bankruptcy matters across the country. Randal B. Frazier has represented banks, lending institutions, real estate developers, wireless communication companies and other clients in a variety of transactional and litigation matters. He has extensive experience in commercial lending, real estate acquisition, real estate finance, land use and zoning and other complex commercial, banking and land use matters and is counsel to numerous financial institutions, real estate developers and corporate clients. Robert E. Riley, Jr. is a member of the firm's corporate finance practice. He advises clients in connection with public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, banking regulatory matters and general corporate legal matters including SEC and exchange reporting obligations. Paul R. Gwilt conducts a complex commercial litigation practice with an emphasis on class action defense, telecommunications and health care litigation. He also has experience litigating and resolving business disputes in the ethanol industry. Angela Probasco is a member of the firm’s litigation department, focusing her practice on matters involving the existence and scope of insurance coverage that may apply to claims or losses. Juliana Reno practices in both transactional work and litigation. On the transactional side, she emphasizes health and welfare plans (including all manner of ERISA, COBRA and HIPAA issues), as well as pension plans. In the courtroom, she focuses on ERISA and employment litigation. Amy L. Van Horne is a member of the firm’s litigation department. She focuses her practice on insurance matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, product liability and insurance coverage disputes, as well as matters involving the existence and scope of insurance coverage that may apply to claims or losses. Michael T. McDonnell, III concentrates his practice in several areas of litigation, including national coordinating counsel. Predominantly, he provides advice and litigates insurance coverage issues for primary, excess and umbrella aviation, marine, trucking, commercial general liability, business automobile policy, property and professional liability carriers. Mr. McDonnell has represented both domestic and London market companies and syndicates in multisite, multiparty pollution and toxic tort claims and intellectual property coverage claims. S. David Childers lecturers nationally on insurance issues and practices primarily in the area of insurance regulation. Prior to his entry into private practice, Mr. Childers served as Director of the Arizona Department of Insurance for three and one-half years. Philip A. Overcash concentrates his practice in commercial and civil litigation and insurance coverage matters. He represents governmental, corporate and insurance clients in a variety of disputes involving complex commercial and civil torts, breach of contract and employment claims and real property disputes. Stacia G. Boden is a member of the firm's litigation and labor and employment practice groups. Her practice focuses on the representation of clients in all areas of employment disputes, including allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation. She also regularly practices in constitutional and civil rights law. Trinidad P. Galdean practices in the areas of labor and employment law, employment litigation, civil litigation, commercial and business law, immigration and mediation. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is also certified as a Professional in Human Resources by the Human Resource Certification Institute.
